2.3 Video Recordings

We may record video of respondents participating in interviews using our platform. The respondent will see their own recording live during the interview. We do not record video in the background.

 

2.4 Audio Recordings

We may record audio of respondents participating in interviews using our platform. We do not record audio in the background. We may fully mask the voice playback from audio interviews to further enhance privacy of the user.

 

2.5 Media Uploads

As a part of the interaction, we may ask the user to voluntarily upload photos/videos of products, themselves or their surroundings based on the requirements of the interview the user is involved in.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, improve, and develop our products and services

  • Manage and authenticate accounts

  • Send technical notices, security alerts, support messages, and other transactional or relationship messages

  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services

  • Detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity

  • Comply with our legal and financial obligations

  • Create de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated information

  • Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected

 

Video/Audio/Uploaded Media Data Usage

We use all video and voice recordings, and the user uploaded media solely for purposes related to the interview, analysis, or as described to the respondent or the enterprise client. This data will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes without explicit consent.

 

4. Information Sharing

We may share personal data under the following circumstances:

  • With Enterprise Customers on whose behalf we have collected that information

  • With vendors who perform work for us, such as web hosting and fraud prevention

  • If required by law or legal process, including requests by public authorities

  • If necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of Chikka, our users, or others

  • With our lawyers and professional advisors where necessary

  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business

7. Additional Disclosures for Individuals in Europe

If you are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland, the following provisions apply:

  • Legal Basis for Processing: We process your personal information under the direction of our Enterprise Customers, who determine the lawful basis for processing.

  • Data Subject Requests: You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict processing, and object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@Chikka.ai, and we will forward your request to the relevant Enterprise Customer.

 

8. Encryption, Security, and Compliance

To ensure the highest level of privacy and security, all user data collected by Chikka will be encrypted end-to-end throughout the entire process. This means that from the moment data is collected, whether through user interactions, account creation, or content uploads, it is encrypted using state-of-the-art encryption protocols both in transit and at rest. This encryption ensures that unauthorized parties cannot access or intercept your personal information, even if data is being transmitted across networks.

In addition to general data encryption, all voice recordings are subjected to advanced encryption techniques. Each audio file is processed using encryption algorithms that mask and obfuscate the voice to prevent identification without explicit consent. These voice recordings are protected by encryption keys that are stored separately and are only accessible by authorized systems for necessary processing. No personal identifiable information is associated with these recordings unless explicitly permitted by the user.

To reinforce user privacy, we ensure that all data is anonymized whenever possible. For example, any data used for analysis, research, or reporting is stripped of identifiable information. Additionally, we adhere to stringent access control policies, allowing only authorized personnel to access sensitive user data, and all staff undergo regular training in data security best practices.
